NEUERO RAILTEC GmbH can look back on decades of history. The company was founded as "AMB Anlagen- und Maschinenbau GmbH". It emerged from a part of the former machine factory in Emlichheim since 2003, systems, machines, and bridges have been manufactured in the production buildings in Emlichheim.

Highly professional partners are essential for success. So it is not surprising that a cooperative relationship with Peters Group based in Itterbeck quickly resulted and developed at that time. Due to an upcoming succession arrangement for the company's former shareholder, the association with the Peters Group was the most obvious solution for everyone involved.
 
Since January 1st, 2017, NEUERO RAILTEC GmbH has been part of the Peters family group. As a result of the long cooperative partnership and the diversification strategy of the Peters Gruppe, the merger marked a turning point in the long history of the company.
 
Restructuring activities, focusing of steel construction production on infrastructure projects as well as replacement and expansion investments followed.
 
Today, NEUERO RAILTEC GmbH has a property area of ​​over 37,000 m² (formerly 15,000 m²) and a production area of ​​over 14,000 m² (formerly 8,000 m²)
and is one of only 24 companies in Europe that are allowed to manufacture and assemble steel bridges for Deutsche Bahn. In the production buildings, turn and lifting systems for the maintenance of rail-bound vehicles, footpath and cycle path bridges, road and rail bridges of all shapes and tonnages are manufactured. Locksmith works are carried out in the locksmith's shop. The technical processing is carried out by the in-house construction department, the production and assembly by our own highly qualified specialist staff.
 
In order to cope with the personnel increase in the last years, the old offices at Industriestraße were demolished in 2019 and a new office complex was built instead.

Brief profile of NEUERO Technology GmbH

NEUERO started out as a manufacturer of agricultural machinery in 1914. The product portfolio expanded continuously in constructions of conveyor systems for loading and unloading of ships and the planning and construction of military protective structures (shelters).

In 1988 a new strategic direction followed in three independent companies:

• NEUERO Technology (partial takeover of the company by NEUERO RAILTEC GmbH starting 01.02.2017).
• NEUERO Industrietechnik für Förderanlagen GmbH.
• NEUERO Farm- und Fördertechnik GmbH

In 1990 NEUERO Technology GmbH took over the product area “lifting systems and systems” for rail vehicles from GEDI (Gebr. Dickertmann, 1843) and emerged as a worldwide supplier of modern machines and systems for maintenance of rail vehicles.

The location Melle remains. At this location the long-time experience of the NEUERO RAILTEC GmbH in the field of machine technology for railway workshops are now bundled. A permanent team of mechanical, electrical and industrial engineers deals with the project conception, calculation, engineering and contracting of worldwide projects in the field of rail technology.

Today, NEUERO RAILTEC is nationally and internationally successful in the field of steel and bridge construction as well as in mechanical engineering for maintenance and repair of rail vehicles of all kinds.
